Moira Shire Community Youth Leadership program 2014

“On behalf of the Moira Shire Council and the participants of the Youth Leadership Program 2014 we extend our appreciation to Suz and The Regional Development Company for the facilitation of our recent leadership program. A highlight of the program was a two day trip to Melbourne. The excursion was well organised and offered the young rural participants insights into social challenges and issues that was both inspitrational and at times overwhelming, while also highlighting proactive ways to deal with lifes challenges. Such opportunities are something not usually accessible to our region. The dedication, professionalism and support provided were well recieved and participants expressed sincere gratitude."

Whitehorse City Council - Orientation Weekend

“Susan Benedyka and the Regional Development Company were selected to facilitate our first induction workshop with the newly elected Council following the October 2012 Council General Elections. Susan, with excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, was able to facilitate the session, cognisant of relationship sensitivities, political issues and community imperatives. She was able to conclude the weekend with Councillors and senior officers all highly complementary of the process and facilitation leading to valued outcomes with a united approach to the direction and to working together.”

“Your contribution in facilitating the consultations with Councillors, staff and community has been invaluable. Your work in the engagement of Councillors and ensuring they were continually informed of the planning process and progress was particularly notable.
I also very much appreciate the efforts you made to meet our timeframes even when you had other more pressing matters to deal with.”

Implications of Grazing Management for Biodiversity Conservation and Productivity Outcomes in Threatened Grassy Woodlands of Northern Victoria

On behalf of the North East and North Central CMAs, the North East Dept. Of Environment and Primary Industries, the Trust for Nature North East and the Woodlands Project Steering Committee, please accept my sincere thanks for the fantastic work you delivered for the project “Improving Threatened Grassy Woodlands of Northern Victoria (2011-13)”. Your professionalism, attention to detail, thoroughness and application of technical NRM skills has produced an outstanding level of monitoring, evaluation and reporting work in the tight 6 month timeframe. It is a testament to your group’s dedication that you were able to achieve all the deliverables to a high standard so quickly e.g. the Literature Review, the Experts Forum, the new Grassy Woodlands Grazing Monitoring Tool for Northern Victoria, the Surveys and Site Assessments with funded landholders and project staff, and of course the final report tying all the components together. The final report you provided was submitted to the Victorian Government investors in July and is being submitted to the Commonwealth Government investors at the end of this month.
Thanks again for your great work.
